Jerk. His poor wife, heaven bless her for standing up to him. He needs to hie him hence. Perhaps to Argentina (on his own dime this time). He can spend the rest of political oblivion there, and stop disgusting the rest of us.

I have a theory.. I think he keeps talking because he wants his wife to be the one that files for divorce. Hence.."She divorced me, I didn't leave her. I tried..."
Hrm. Not bad... still though, if he runs around calling his affair was a love story with his soul mate, saying "I tried" isn't going to hold water for long. But he seems to be in full self-destruct mode, so maybe that hasn't occurred to him yet?
Maybe, who knows. If I was Mrs Sanford I would have filed by now!
